We're incredibly excited to announce that the BOP brand is now officially launched, and our very first product—the BOP Button—will be available to consumers across Singapore by May 2024!
We’re especially grateful to Minister Desmond Lee and MP Carrie Tan for gracing our launch event at the Age+ Living Lab, and for their warm support and encouragement.
Minister Desmond Lee’s message that “helping seniors age well is a collective effort” truly resonated with us. He highlighted how assistive technology is a powerful and emerging tool to support seniors—especially those living alone—to age confidently at home. This speaks directly to the heart of BOP’s mission. We are ready and proud to answer his call to contribute to this collective effort, so our seniors can age with dignity, safety, and peace of mind.
The BOP Button is a simple yet potentially life-saving tool. It’s a wireless, wall-mounted emergency alert button that requires no WiFi, no charging, and no complicated setup. Battery-powered and splash-proof, it’s designed to be installed easily in high-risk areas such as bathrooms and bedrooms.
With just one press, the BOP Button connects the senior to our 24/7 BOP Response Centre, where eldercare-trained call agents will speak directly to them, assess the situation, and activate emergency services if needed. Family members are immediately notified via our BOP App, providing both a lifeline for seniors and peace of mind for caregivers.
We’re incredibly thankful for our close partnership with SG Assist, whose compassionate team of locally trained call agents brings heart and humanity to every response. Their dedication ensures that when help is needed, it’s not only swift and reliable—it’s also deeply personal.
We’re proud that the BOP Button is one of the featured technologies at the Age+ Living Lab, a collaborative initiative by Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and SG Assist. This unique resource centre gives seniors and caregivers the chance to explore, touch, and test a wide range of assistive solutions—and just as importantly, provide valuable feedback to improve them.
If you’re caring for an elderly loved one and looking for practical ways to keep them safe at home, we warmly invite you to visit the Age+ Living Lab and try the BOP Button for yourself.
Let’s work together to build a more caring, inclusive society where our seniors can truly age well, age safely, and age with confidence.
